This tradition has also been transmitted by Ya’la bin Umayyah through a different chain of narrators. This version adds The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) commanded him to take it off (the tunic) and to take a bath twice or thrice. The narrator then transmitted the rest of the tradition.
