حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، وَمِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ التَّمِيمِيُّ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَزَادَ هَنَّادٌ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ :

قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ : اقْرَأْ عَلَيَّ .

This hadith has been narratted by A'mash with the same chain of transmitters but with this addition:" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was on the pulpit when he asked me to recite to him."
