حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صُدْرَانَ، نَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مُجَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسٍ
المتن
، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةَ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ : ابْنُ صُدْرَانَ بَصْرِيٌّ غَرِقَ فِي الْبَحْرِ مَعَ ابْنِ مِسْوَرٍ ، لَمْ يَسْلَمْ مِنْهُمْ غَيْرُهُ .

Regarding narrations about Al-Jassasah
Fatimah, daughter of Qais, said: The prophet (ﷺ) offered the noon prayer and ascended the pulpit. Before this day he did not ascend it except on Friday. He then narrated this story. Abu Dawud said: Ibn Sudran belongs to Basrah. He was drowned in the sea along with Ibn Miswar, and no one could escape except him.
